On/in the street

Hello everyone. I have a question.

Regarding the following two sentences:

(A) I saw Tom singing with a guitar on the street.

(B) I saw Tom singing with a guitar in the street.

Which is more natural, (A) or (B)? Are both possible? Which would you normally use?
