when do we use one and ones?when can't we use one and ones ?How are they different between each other?

I'm always facing such confusion when I come across with this.Plus, I've gone through some exercise related to it,using one/ones where possible.Can someone check for me whether I've chosen the right answer.Thanks indeed.

1)The screwdriver's is too big. Have you got...?one

2)Are those plastic flowers or...?ones

3)Italian ice-cream is much better than....one

'One' is 1; 'ones' is 2 or more. You cannot use either with uncountable referents. These are right:


1) The screwdriver is too big. Have you got...?one

2) Are those plastic flowers or...?ones

3) Italian ice-cream is much better than.... (no pronoun)
