One word needed

With what other word can 'confirmation' be replaced in the following sentence?

"You have to submit a confirmation letter from your Manager stating that you have worked in that for a month."

Top answer

Why not just omit the word 'confirmation' altogether? It seems redundant. 'worked in that' sounds a little odd.

Oops! 'in that' was a mistake. It was supposed to be 'there'.

I understand that this word can be removed, but I was looking for an adjective to describe such a letter. Any suggestions?

Perhaps 'verification'?

Something more formal? I mean, you can't tell someone that you want a 'verification' letter from them.

You can't just tel' someone you want a 'confirmation letter', either.

Either way, you have to do some further explaining.

P.S. : That is exactly why I was looking for a word to replace 'confirmation'.
