Hi !!! could somebody please help me out with the above dilema of mine... I can't seem to find one word for an "unquenchable thirst for knowledge"... the nearest I got to was philosophy ( philos=love + sophy=know)... but that is not what I am looking for... the word need not necessarily be in english... Thanks in advance!!! Suchintya

0 Thank you Pieanne. Multi-lingual! It was "wissbegierde" that i found tranlasted as Inquisitive. 02br 02br 00I must remember Wissensdurst - great word! 050010id1
Wissenlust is not in my dictionary, but it has been used more than once - actually google gives 4.000.000 results approx! I can give you the italian "sete di sapere" but unfortunately latin languages cannot just stick words together.
