One word for laying flat?

Hello,

I tried Thesaurus and Reverse Dictionary but couldn't find a word for 'laying flat on bed', the normal sleeping position: laying on back, facing the sky.

What is/are the one-word to describe that position, if any?

Many thanks.

  • Facing the sky is not my normal sleeping position, BTW.

That is, you can BE prone or prostrate (I don't think either is specifically face up, although one is face down.)

Great catch on "supine," Tanit. It's face up. How did I miss that?

Unfortunately, the poster wants a one word substitute for "lie flat."
