One week out

We down under say “one week out”when we mean one week to some event. Then I heard a British say it means one week after an event. Am I correct? What do Americans say?

healer What do Americans say? You have provided no context, so I don't know how either y'all or the Pommies use either phrase. That makes it impossible to give you an American equivalent.
