One vs. any

I haven’t found one so far.
I haven’t found any yet.

I am not quite sure I can see the difference between the two sentences. Could the former mean that I have been looking for some particular thing while in the latter I would be happy to find anything of that kind?

As for ‘so far’ and ‘yet’, could they be interchangeable here?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry about that!

In isolation, they appear to be the same to me. I do not sense the difference that you do.

Aspara Gus ... I do not sense the difference that you do.
...probably, because there is none.
As an ESL student, I have to be careful with synonyms. Sometimes, it can take hours, if not days, to find the answer, so I am particularly grateful for such a quick reply.
