Hi everybody,

1/A one-time pupil/politician = A former pupil/politician = An ex_pupil/politician =

A late pupil/politician ?

Are one-time, former, late and ex_ interchangeable? If not, what is the difference btw them?

2/ I think one-time, former, late and ex_ can refer to a person that is either still alive or dead. Right?

3/Only the word former can refer to a person who has changed his name. Right?
