One spot to next

Could someone tell me how to say this in English naturally? Is it a signal or network ? Is it natural to say “from one spot to the next?

From one spot to the next, my phone’s signal changes. I’ll have 4g signal/network and take a step left and it’ll drop to 3g. This only happens at home. Usually you don’t have to be still to maintain the 4g signal.
