One situation from Mr.Monk
Hi guys,
can you please help me with one situation from Mr.Monk? Context:Captain Stottlemeyer and Lth Randy Disher are standing in one box gym where one bomb just went off. That bomb was meant for one very famous boxer who they're speaking with. Randy decided to make an impression on that boxer...
Randy: You know, I do a little boxing myself. Light middleweight.
Stottlemeyer: When did you box?
Randy: Remember the benefit(charity action, right?) for the police athlete league? Took sergeant mulroney in nine rounds. TKO. Left uppercut.
Stottlemeyer: Stan mulroney, he retired 12 years ago. We called him "pops." (means "father")
Randy: That's right. He was older than me. He was experienced. Wiley.(?????? What did he mean by that? He said it with an emphasis in voice....)
Stottlemeyer:He had a cane.
Randy: And he used it.(he used it against me, right? I bet that Randy is joking here...)
