One sentence - I have often played tennis recently

Dear teachers Emotion: smile

How do you feel about this sentence?

"I have often played tennis recently"

To be more concrete - I am curious to know whether the sentence isn't too overloaded (often + recently) .

Can't wait to know your opinion!

Thank you

I think it's acceptable, but it's probably not the way that most people would naturally express the idea. "I've played a lot of tennis recently" / "I've played tennis a lot recently" comes to mind as a more natural conversational alternative.
