One sentence

Would you care for checking correctness of a sentence below?

To me it sounds a little awkward, esp. the part underlined.

Peer pressure shouldn't be a reason to for him to be doing something he doesn't want to.

(Why "be doing", not "do"? And shouln't "to" after "a reason" be omitted?)
