Could you explain this sentence?? It's not really structured as a sentence, because it has no main clause, no subject or main verb. I'd describe it more as an exclamation (of surprise, perhaps).

The two images in it are these.

It's so hot that it's surprising that anyone should care who they are kissing. The person being kissed has lips that are flushed, perhaps because of the heat or perhaps because of passion, we don't know.

It's so hot that it's surprising that anyone should care whose damp head is on their chest, against his pyjama pocket. The idea is that the man and woman are in bed together. Her head may be damp becauseof the heat, or because she is sweating from passion.

I'd like to write more about this but, if you'll excuse me, I have to go and have a cold shower now.
