Hello,1. These are graps. They are sweet.I have to write these two sentences into  one sentence.a) These graps are sweet.I think (a) is a correct version.But I have to explain it to a  child of six years old. I don't know the best approach to explain it. Could anybody clear it how to explain it?

The best thing would be to have some actual grapes (and make sure they are sweet ones).

If you can't do that, here's a link toa picture of grapes. You also could use sugar or a picture of sugar to help explain 'sweet', if you wanted to. And you can pretend to eat grapes and smile when you pretend to taste them. Then say that they taste good. They are sweet.

Could anybody clear it how to explain it? I don't teach children. However, with a child that young, do you think it is really necessary or wise to try to explain? If you just tell the child that he/she can say that, he'll accept it and learn to say it, won't he?
