"My Son the Fanatic" by Hanif Kureishi is a story that describes the relationship between a Pakistani immigrant with his son among the cross-cultural problems in Great Britain. Ali's father, a taxi driver strives to provide a well quality of life for his family but suddenly finds out that his son Ali, develops some strange behaviors and parted from his English girlfriend. Finally, after several discussions with his friends, he finds out that Ali has involved with Islam and does not like his father attitudes. This story does not only describe the situation of immigrants in Great Britain, it also describes problems between a father and his son so that the story also has message to every boy's life.
