One other or another

Hi. I think both of the following sentences are correct. Are they correct? I'm not sure the following explanation of an adverb is correct or not. On second thought, I think it's correct but perhaps rather limited in explanation. Thank you in advance for your help.

1. An adverb is one that modifies a verb, an adjective, or another adverb.

2. An adverb is one that modifies a verb, adjective, or other adverb.
