One or two abilities

Hi. Please tell me if the underlined part should be the word "ability" or "abilities" in the following example sentence. I think I saw the answer "ability" for a sentence somewhat (maybe a little bit) similar to the one I wrote below in one of the English learning sites online.

He has the ability to run very fast and draw well.
