One of the most―Illogical Expression？
A person I know says, "She is one of the most beautiful girls" is an illogical English expression. Accordingly to him, the most beautiful girl is only one existence.
My opinion is negative. I don't think it is an illogical English expression.

It's not illogical. "one of the most ..." is fine because 'most' is not a comparative superlative here but what's called an absolute superlative. That is, 'most' becomes in effect 'very' in that expression.
