One must work on one's temperament to adapt...

Hi

Is this sentence OK? Any suggestion is welcome.

It's not always the new system or culture that bothers you; it's sometimes your own temperament. I believe that one must work on one's temperament to adapt to the new surroundings.

I'd avoid mixing 'you' and 'one'. Be consistent.
