One more motivation letter :-)

I'm not in hurry as most people here, but I would be glad if some would help me by correcting my motivation letter.

Motivation
Since my early childhood the Red Cross has been strongly present in my field of vision. Local, national and international actions and projects had a very constant positive impression on me. During my education, trainings and experiences as a mechanic and a water supply and sanitation engineer, in Germany and abroad, I was able to gain varied qualifications, through which I can now actively support the goals and the work of the Red Cross.
One of the major Red Cross goals is to uphold and to support international humanity, peace, health and dignity, in Germany and worldwide. The guiding principle as well as the general guidelines and principles coincide with my personal ideas regarding daily, general and individual commitment to humanity and dignity!
With my apprenticeship and work experience as a mechanic, I learned valuable basic skills in goal-oriented effort and organization, which is the basis of successful projects. During the following academic studies for bachelor and master degree in civil engineering with specialization in water supply and sanitation I have always focused on professional and sustainable humanitarian activity abroad. Through several years of professional experience as a Water Supply and Sanitation Engineer in partly difficult project areas I learned and appreciated the importance of teamwork and interdisciplinary as well as intercultural project management and execution, especially in projects under physical and psychological pressure.
After these experiences, I would like to engage myself for the goals and the work of the Red Cross in order to widen my own horizons and skills as well as to contribute my knowledge and experience and to share it with others.
Water and sanitation is often the foundation of any further action that allows or prevents. With sustainable and experienced know-how in this field projects on humanitarian aid can be improved and can lead to effective help for human beings that need support.
I’d love to introduce myself more profoundly in a personal interview.
