The genial sunlight beamed through the windows before I woke up reluctantly. Having a rapid and instinctive glance at the blaring alarm clock, I found that there were still several minutes left for me to enjoy the valuable dream. In a trance, I stretched out my hand to press the button and then went on with my interrupted adventure in the dreamland. I could not help getting shocked at the second glance at the alarm and even shouting out, for it was so late that I could no longer remain sleepy. After struggling out of the comforter, I draped a coat over my shoulders, selected clothes and trousers from the wardrobe, and entered the bath to brush teeth and to take a shower. The sprinkling warm water, the moist steam, and the sweet smell of the shampoo comforted me quite a lot and drove away my half-consciousness completely, but I still had to be aware of the pressing time and should finish the job as soon as possible. I wiped away the dripping water in my hair and on my body with towel after the shower and got out of the bath, an appetizing mixed smell of toast, fried eggs, and boiled milk tickling the tip of my nose. I instinctively took a deep breathing. After dressing myself and making up slightly, I could even hardly enjoy a real breakfast but complete it just like fulfilling a certain task. And then, with all the jobs done, I carried the readily prepared bag and rushed out of the house, still chewing.
