Once again "until" got me confused

Hi! everyone.Could you help me understand this sentence having until in it.
Tea with the queen is out of the question, until you don't need to be reminded every time you sit down to put your napkin in your lap.
Instead of colored phrase ,should not there be "until you need...."
With "until you need..." in the sentence it gives the meaning which seems correct to my ears is-:You will not have a tea with queen until you need to be reminded every time you sit down to put your napkin in your lap.
Could you tell me what is the reason the negative sentence (until you don't need....) is correct. Isn't it a non action?
Thanks!

Hi! Clive.Thanks for answering.
Now,what I got is that-:Queen won't have tea with you until/unless you become a man(who don't need to be reminded......)
May you give me some more examples regarding this use of until where (don't or seemingly non action) is included,I mean some sentences like the sentence under discussion.
I will be very thankful for your that act.
Thanks!
