Hello,

One she ________ a letter. (write)

What would be the correct form of the verb given in the bracket?

Is "wrote" correct as "once" suggests past time?

If that is the complete sentence, use simple past: Once she wrote a letter. Here, once = at a previous time. But don't forget that also once = as soon as: Once she has written the letter, she will seal and send it.
