Hi, would someone please tell me what's the difference between "on your own accord" and "on your own"? thanks!

"On your own accord" . Is a phrase I've never heard. I think the more usual phrase would be "Of your own accord" which means "without being asked to do it ("by agreement with yourself and no one else)." Eg: She left of her own accord (no one told her to go).

"On your own" means without anyone else. Eg: I live on my own = no one lives with me.
