ON THE MONEY

Hi, someone could help me with this?:

'They (my friends) got sick and tired of that shit so they just stopped coming. When all those rumors got out about me doing a lot of drugs during that time THEY WERE ALL ON THE MONEY, because I was. Sex and drugs took the place that music had occupied in my life ...'
Does it mean ("on the money") that those rumors were right?
Thanks in advance, Jo.
