On the hill is Tom standing.

1. On the hill is Tom standing.

2. On the hill is standing Tom.

3. On the hill is he standing.

4. On the hill is standing he.

I'm studying Inversion now a days and became wondered about the 4 sentences above. Which ones are grammatical and which ones are not?

Always many thanks.

(4) seems impossible. (2) is a possible inversion pattern, but "On the hill stands Tom" would be more usual. (1) and (3) seem barely possible, and would only be used in very stylised writing, or for poetic or special effect, if at all.
