On the beach rocks/in the beach on the rocks

Hi everybody,

Is this correct?

Have you heard about the man who used to live on the beach rocks? or in the beach on the rocks? He was found dead!

Top answer

Have you heard about the man who used to live among the rocks on the beach? He was found dead! You can say 'on the rocks on the beach', but to avoid two 'on's in a row, I've changed the first 'on' to 'among'.
