On that count /score

Can we use "on that count, on that score" in the same meaning as "on account of" in a sentence,for example - He has been perpetually violating the the rules of the club and on account of that he is removed from the membership of the club. Can we rephrase this sentence as follows.

1. He has been perpetually violating the rules of the club and on that count he is removed from the membership of the club.

2. He has been perpetually violating the rules of the club and on that score he is removed from the membership of the club.
