on shelf

Hi teachers,

Are these sentences natural? Is on shelf even correct?

Product xxx will be on shelf next month.
Product xxx will be on shelf of every supermarket.

Thanks

"on shelf next month" sounds wrong to me. I would say "on the shelves next month". However, I do remember a time when "in store" sounded horribly wrong to me too, and now it is everywhere (in the UK).
