On-screen antics

What does the expression "on-screen antics mean in the following text?

In fact, if they say firmly, "I don't have TV and I don't want one." the general rule is, don't invite them to dinner. They haven't learnt the etiquette of the TV addict. They don't know how to make civilized dinner conversation and will sit there, eyes wide at the on-screen antics.

Thanks.
