Hi.
What does it mean that:
) The Publishers shall notify the Proprietors of their actual date of publication and will send two free copies of the said work in translated form to the Proprietors on publication
Means "immediately after" or simply "after"?

I'm not sure there is one. British speakers tend to use them interchangeably. Americans rarely use shall, except in legal contexts, where it indicates that something is required.

In British usage, shall doesn't have the same sense of obligation or requirement.
