Hello,

He wrote on/in his memo pad.

Which one is right -in or on? I feel we write ON a memo pad? Is this right?

Thanks.

If the pad is a true pad, like some paper bound along the top edge with no cover in sight, it's "on". You write "in" a book of any kind, like a diary or journal, for instance.
