'On his feet he wore big shoes' Question?

Hi teachers,
If the answer is, 'On his feet he wore big shoes'. Could this be a possible question, 'What did he wear on his feet?'
Is there a better or shorter one?

Thanks in advance.

This is not a great question. Obviously, shoes go on your feet. If the only thing about them that is noteworthy is that they were "big" then you can simply say "Describe his shoes." (His shoes were big.)

No one would say "On his feet he wore big shoes."

Hi Grammar Geek,
Thank you for your reply.
It is just part of somebody's description, like the one before, 'He wore a long black coat'.

The best you can do is say "Describe his shoes."

If you asked me "What did he have on his feet" I'd think you were a bit odd and say "uh... shoes?" with an implied "Duh" included.
