On behalf or In behalf? which is correct?

I'm kinda confused with using either of these, especially when writing business letters... which is more approriate in a letter?

Interesting to see that MM sees them a bit different of each other.

This dictionary doesn't:
------
- in behalf of or on behalf of preposition : in the interest of : as the representative of : for the benefit of <this letter is written in behalf of my client>
