On another day or the other day

There are four questions i don't know which is a better way to say.

1. "On another day, i was asked by a clerk to buy more things. " Or "The other day, i was asked by a clerk to buy more things."

2. "The number of sending box houses to the poor rose from 2000 in 2004 to 26000 in 2005. " Or " The box houses to the poor went from sending 2000 in 2004 to 26000 in 2005. "

3. "In 2000,the club was formed, of which Joe is the member." Or "In 2000, the club of which Joe is the member was formed. "

4." They didn't think before what they were going to say."

" They didn't think about what they were going to say."

" They didn't think before they were going to say it ."

or " They didn't think about what they were going to say."
