1. On a first date, I would feel awkward to go to a restaurant because it is very quiet.

2. On a first date, Going to a restaurant is awkward becauase the atmosphere is very quiet.

It seems logically odd to me.

But taking the context as written, I would say " I feel very awkward going on the first date in a quite restaurant."
