I would like to know which of the following sentences is correct.
1) Have you ever worked in a field?
2) Have you ever worked on a field?

"Have you ever worked on a farm?" is a normal question, though it does not exclusively refer to working in fields (you could be e.g. milking cows in a shed). If you must refer to fields, perhaps "Have you ever worked in the fields?" would be better. In
