Omitting articles in lists

a. I am a self-motivated, an intelligent, and a friendly person.

b. I am a self-motivated, intelligent, and friendly person.

Does b work even though 'intelligent' requires the article 'an' not 'a'?

Thanks

What about the difference between:

1) a friendly person
2) friendly person

There should be no comma after intelligent. If one uses 'and' it is better for the continuous flow of the sentence to avoid punctuation marks.

The artcle 'a' was already used as the third word of the sentence so it is unnessary to put it in front of 'friendly' (again).
