Omitting articles

Is it OK to omit articles when texting? As in:

A: Is that a girl or a boy?
B: Girl.

A: What do you think?
B: Same.

I've seen that one of the volunteers on here used 'same' in one of his posts.

I am with Clive. I do not practice "lazy English", written or oral. In fact, it irritates the hack out of me when I see " I dunno".
