Omission of verbs in similar clauses

Hi!

Is it correct to rewrite the sentence

His eyes are large, his nose is small and his mouth is wide.

in the following way?

His eyes are large, his nose small and his mouth wide.

This is just an example of a sentence pattern that I think I once knew. I haven't used it for a long time and I'm not sure about it now.

In the second sentence may I omit the word "and"?

Thank you very much!
