olympics vocabulary

I'm writing an essay about the history of the Olympic games, and I've got lots of doubts related to vocabulary.

Olympic torch (is it the right word?)

The Parthenon (How do you pronounce it in English?)

And what about the Olympic symbol, has it got a name? Do you call it the Olympic circles?

Another question, in the old Olympics they put the athletes a kind of crown made of olive tree, it think? What do you call it?

Hi,

I've always heard the circles called the Olympic 'rings'.
