Oldest

How would you express this please? I'm not talking about age but about the number of years he's worked at the school. How do you say that?

He is the oldest teacher in the school.

Thank you so much

I can't think of a definitive phrase for that. These may work: Most senior Longest working/serving (serving works much better for military/police) Longest tenured (tenure would only be for teachers)

I don't think there is a word for that. He has taught at the school the longest of any of the teachers there.

What do you think about using the word seniority?

Who is the oldest in terms of seriority at the school? or something like that?

Thank you
