Older or Oldest?

I am 19 years old. My brothers are 20 and 25 years old.

If someone asked me to get my older brother, wouldn't I get the 25 year old as he is the older of the two choices: the 20 year old or the 25 year old? Or would I need to ask for clarification because they are both older than me? I am really confused as to whom the "older brother" is being compared to in the request. Are the brothers compared to each other or are they compared to me?

Since your are the one being asked the comparison is with you. To get your older brother could mean either one. It should be get you oldest brother for the 25 year old, and the middle brother (the next older brother) would normally be referred to by name.

If someone asked you to get your older brother, the reply from you should be: which one?
