Old English

Holy and hys mery men they dawsyn and they syng
Ivy and hur maydens they wepyn and they wryng.

This is a carol quite with old english words.

Can I understand this like?:
Holly and his merry men are dancing and singing
Ivy and her maids are weeping and wryng.

Thanks in advance!

Ah. I was wondering about Holy = Holly, but now I understand, thank you.
