Capitalize, Suse. The online dictionaries authorize these: OK, O.K., okay. The second is becoming rare.

I know many people who, when texting, will give them "different" meanings. When asked, "How are you?" They will respond with "okay" if they are, indeed, okay, and "ok" if they are not actually feeling well, but don't necessarily want to seem needy.
