offshore drilling

Offshore drilling is not going to impact gas prices in the short run. It might impact them in the long run. By long run, I mean after 20 years because production won't run at full capacity until then. Even so, the drop will be insignificant because it will only increase the world's oil production by 3 percent while we're using 25 percent of the world's production. At the rates China and India are growing, who know how much additional oil they will consume 20 year later. That's why we shouldn't bank on offshore drilling.

ARe there any mistakes?

Thanks.

Comma after 20 yrs Even so - incorrect use logically while the rates of growth might be different, we would probably say "rate" singular, applying to the collective rate - but yours is okay. " is a fixed expression, and doesn't refer to China & India (plural) but an unknown person who might know. Probably a question mark at the end.

Thank you, Avangi. I have only one question.

How do you use "even so" correctly? In other words, why is it incorrect in the original?
