which is correct: 'i kill people and chop off their heads on a daily bais' or 'kill people and chop their heads off on a daily basis'
i get confused between the two! for example, 'hey, switch on the fan' or 'hey, switch the fan on'.

All of these are OK.

oh okay. i thought it was grammatically incorrect. because when i said to my friend, 'i'm going to switch on the fan'. he said it's 'i'm going to switch the fan on.'

As I said, you'll fail if you don't capitalize. Are capitals used in your native language? They are important in English.

Not capitalizing is like saying to the reader, 'I don't care much about helping you to find the start of my sentences, so I'm going to let you do that work'.
