In the book about magic the author writes:
On the back of a pet's tags and licenses, you can mark protective symbols and signs such as pentagrams. You can also make a round metal tag of your own, scratch or carve mystic words or symbols on it and hang it with your pet's other tags.
Does "of your own" mean "for myself" or "by myself"?
I understand that the tags are given by the state to the owner of the dog and here the author says that the holder can make such a tag himself and hang it on his animal's neck together with other tags that the animal is wearing? Is it what it says?
