Changing "the" to "a" only changes the noun phrase from "definite" to "indefinite".
This change is totally unrelated to "defining" and "non-defining" clauses.

I heard like the usage of "of which " is quite rare with the definings.
So I was tempted to use it with non defining and changed it into non one.

But yeah the one starts with whose is unneccesary I suppose.
