Have anyone help me to explain the meaning and usage of the following items ?

2. at which

3. in which

4. for which

5. ___ which (teach me if know)

Use these for making formal dependent clauses: 1-- This is the book of which I was speaking (= this is the book I was speaking of) 2-- The table at which we sat was large and oval (= the table we sat at was large and oval) 3-- Please tell me in which car you will be travelling (= please tell me which car you will be travelling in) 4-- I lost the book for which this is the dust cover (= I lost the book this is the dustcover for) 5-- Many (or most) prepositions can be used in this same manner: about, within, outside, during, between, through , etc.

But i still have a little misunderstanding.

Ex . This is the book i was speaking ( Is it correct if no of?)(if incorrect why)

Another problem

The table we sat(verb)at was(verb)large and oval. ( Teach me what is the sentence structure?)

1-- You need the of because the usage is to speak of/about; also speak with/to with other meanings. Speak requires a preposition when it is a transitive verb: This is the book I was speaking of.
